About Us - Facility




The College has 84.83 hectares of land in its possession of which 10 hectares are irrigated and are under cultivation of fodder crops.



Seventeen departments and a Teaching Veterinary Clinical Service Complex of the institute are accommodated in temporarily constructed buildings and have sufficient space to meet the requirement of their working. The laboratories of all the departments are equipped adequately to meet the requirements of education.



A view of the College LibraryThe college library placed in the administrative block has sufficient volumes of text and reference books and selected research journals. A reading hall with adequate facilities is available for the students and staff on all days of week between 8.00 AM to 10.00 PM.

Livestock and Poultry Farms


The Goat Unit of the college including Osmanabadi and Berari goats

The livestock instructional farms available with the institute includes

 Pandharpuri buffalo unit

 Cross-bred cattle unit

 Osmanabadi & Berari goat unit

 Broiler unit.



Agriculture farm


Fodder crops produced at the Agriculture Farm of the collegeThe irrigated land available with the college is being utilized for fodder production and is sufficient to meet the requirement of livestock units. The agriculture farm of the institute has been fully mechanized through special financial assistance received from NATP, ICAR, New Delhi. The machinery procured under this scheme include Tractor, Power Tiller, Irrigation system, Rotavator etc.


Fodder crop museum


 A fodder crop museum consisting live cultivated fodder crops has been developed that serves as a demonstration unit for students as well as farmers visiting the institute.
